Manuel Bremer is professor without tenure [German "außerplanmäßiger Professor"] at the University of Düsseldorf, teaching there since 2001. From 1993 to 2000 he taught philosophy at several universities and grammar schools/high schools. His studies at the Universities of Cologne, Hagen and Düsseldorf included philosophy, linguistics and computer science. His degrees include a Master of Arts, a PhD and a post-doctoral thesis [German "Habilitation"]. He also worked for some years as a software engineer and computer science teacher.
